Severe storms over the weekend caused significant damage to the Five Star Life Summit campus, destroying a greenhouse used for student learning.
Officials say the damage resulted in thousands of dollars in losses and will disrupt upcoming spring programs that typically serve thousands of students.
The greenhouse is a central part of the organization’s hands-on curriculum in agriculture and environmental science.
Leaders say they are now working to relocate classes and are asking the community for donations to help rebuild.
