Police in Elkhart are searching for a man suspected of stealing air tools from the Menards on Windsor Avenue in August.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build and brown hair, Sgt. Chris Snyder with the Elkhart Police Department said. He was wearing white and blue plaid shorts, a white T-shirt, black shows and a gray and white plaid hat during the theft, which occurred at about 5:16 p.m. Aug. 28.
