Indiana State Police troopers are planning a sobriety checkpoint that will be somewhere in St. Joseph County on Friday night, March 27.

The checkpoint will begin during the evening hours, according to a news release from ISP. Once the checkpoint is over, extra troopers will patrol the county looking for drivers who may be intoxicated.

Drivers should expect delays of about two to three minutes, the news release stated. Drivers who have their driver’s license and vehicle registration readily available will make it faster.
