MUSKEGON, Mich. (AP) — A western Michigan amusement park is offering some visitors a chance to pitch tents and spend the night beneath a roller coaster.
The Muskegon Chronicle reports that Thursday’s campout beneath the Corkscrew at Michigan’s Adventure is part of the Aug. 16 National Roller Coaster Day celebration.
Only 20 campsites are available and tickets can be purchased through Monday. Each campsite costs $200 and can accommodate up to four people. It includes park admission, an evening meal, exclusive ride time and continental breakfast.
Proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Muskegon Lakeshore.
Cedar Fair Entertainment owns the park and will host similar events at its other properties.
