Soon, Starbucks customers in South Bend may be able to order a latte in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.

The restaurant at S.R. 23 and Ironwood Drive in South Bend recently applied for a liquor license with the hopes of being able to offer the expanded Starbucks evening menu, according to the South Bend Tribune. The evening menu includes craft beer and wine as well as expanded menu items, such as macaroni and cheese.

Starbucks is known for its coffees, teas, breakfast foods and limited lunch items. The company tested beer and wine sales at several stores in larger cities earlier in 2015 and found that customers enjoyed the offering, the Tribune reported.

Beer and wine can also be purchased at the South Bend Chocolate Cafe and Chicory Cafe in downtown South Bend.
