An autopsy determined that 48-year-old Anthony Peterson of Crown Point died of blunt force trauma, according to Capt. Michael Kellems with the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on S.R. 8 near C.R. 50 West.

The 38-year-old Hannah woman seriously injured in the crash remains hospitalized at South Bend Memorial Hospital.
