Person injured in shooting at AMVETS Post 66 in South Bend

South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that took place at the AMVETS Post 66 on Western Avenue.

Officers with the South Bend Police Department were called the 1600 block of Western Avenue around 1 o’clock on Friday, Nov. 24. One person was injured, but there was no word regarding how severe the injuries were, according to WNDU.

There was no immediate word on what led to the gunfire, or any possible suspects or arrests.
