Goshen property owners upset about proposed Lippert annexation/expansion

Goshen property owners are speaking out about a proposed Lippert Components annexation and expansion…and they’re none too pleased.

The recreational vehicle components maker is seeking to have 330 acres along County Road 36 near the 4-H Fairgrounds annexed into the city for new development.

The Goshen News spoke to nearby property owners, who are concerned about issues ranging from their own property values, scenery, increased traffic, and light pollution. One owner is also concerned about a third shift operating at the new facility, keeping them and everyone else awake at night.

The annexation idea will be discussed at Tuesday’s Goshen City Council meeting.
