One person is dead and two others are injured after a crash in Benton Township Wednesday morning.

Police were called to M-139 (Martin Luther King Drive) and Highland Avenue, where they found an SUV that had been struck in its side.

The driver of the SUV, a 63-year-old from Benton Harbor, was pronounced dead.

WSBT reports her passenger was injured, along with another person in the second car.

Police are currently looking for the other people that were in the second vehicle, as they ran from the scene following the crash.
