Elkhart boy appears in adult court, faces attempted murder charge

A Elkhart boy who is charged with shooting another teenager has appeared in adult court.

15-year-old Marshon Robinson is charged with attempted murder after a shooting on Benham Avenue in late July.

The victim was a 19-year-old who suffered two bullet wounds.

The Elkhart Truth reports the victim said Robinson shot him while they were walking together on Benham Avenue.

The victim identified Robinson from his hospital bed.

Robinson claimed it was the victim who had the gun, but that he wrestled it from his hands and shot him.
