You could win big — and give back to the community at the same time — with this year’s REAL Big Raffle.
REAL Services’ popular raffle has returned with a grand prize of $20,000 (minus taxes) with additional early bird drawings with prizes ranging from $50 to $500. Only 2,000 raffle coupons are available for purchase (at $50 each), so your odds of winning are greater than you may think.
Proceeds from the REAL Big Raffle benefit the nonprofit’s Meals on Wheels program — which provides nutritious meals five days a week to the community — as well as other programs. Each coupon provides up to five hot meals for nearly 500 seniors and disabled individuals in need in Elkhart and St. Joseph counties.
If you purchase your coupon in time, you’re eligible for two early bird drawings, one on May 31 and one on June 28. If your coupon is drawn during the early bird process you are still eligible to win the $20,000 grand prize!
REAL Big Raffle coupons may be purchased via check or money order by mailing: REAL Services, P.O. Box 1835, South Bend, IN, 46634, Attn: Development Department. If you would like to pay with cash or a debit card, visit the main office of REAL Services at 1151 S. Michigan St. in South Bend. The state of Indiana prohibits the purchase of raffle coupons with credit cards.
To be entered into the drawing, raffle coupons must be received by 4:30 p.m. July 25, no exceptions. You may purchase a coupon even if you live out of the area. The final drawing for the $20,000 grand prize will be July 26. For more information on the REAL Big Raffle, visit REAL Services’ website.
