Four people, including a toddler, were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 4 and Ridgeway Lane.
The collision happened around 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, when a Ford Focus, heading north on Ridgeway Lane, attempted to turn west onto CR 4 and pulled into the path of an eastbound Lincoln Corsair.
The Lincoln struck the driver’s side of the Ford, causing injuries to both occupants of the Focus, a man and a woman in their 70s. They were taken to Elkhart General Hospital with complaints of neck and chest pain.
The driver of the Lincoln, a woman in her 20s, and her 2-year-old passenger were also transported to the hospital. The driver suffered a wrist injury, and the child sustained a scratch on the neck.
