The Res Nature Preserve will celebrate two new additions on Friday.
They’re adding a custom-built performance stage and a scenic pedestrian bridge, and they’re inviting the community to celebrate.
The stage was planned and constructed by Daniel Williams, a Life Scout from Boy Scout Troop 525, and the bridge was constructed by members of the local Marine Reserve combat battalion. From 5 until 8 on Friday, join them for an evening surrounded by nature with live music, s’mores, kids’ crafts and games and more.
It’s a rain-or-shine event.

Even in the age of Google Maps, this would be one of those stories where an address in the body or a map in the photos might be handy to have.
