A LaPorte woman was arrested after smashing a windshield and kicking a police officer.

An officer arrives at the NYBE Apartment Homes Office on August 15 for a domestic dispute.

Reports say 22-year-old Hailey Murphy was intoxicated and yelling at her boyfriend after she smashed their vehicle’s windshield in the parking lot.

Reports say she was physically aggressive with her boyfriend and officers.

She’s charged with Battery Against a Public Safety Official, Domestic Battery, Resisting Law Enforcement, Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication. Her first hearing is scheduled for October 29.
