Michigan is having one of the worst flu seasons in the U.S.

So far, Michigan’s flu season is said to be one of the most severe in the entire country.

The latest data from the CDC ranks Michigan as one of five states reporting “very high” levels of flu.

WSJM reports that only 23% of Michiganders have gotten their flu shot, and Southeast Michigan is reporting the highest number of cases.

More than 7.5 million people have had the flu this season nationwide, with more than 3000 deaths attributed to influenza this season.
